Our greenhouse now includes 27 soil beds, each 3' wide by 75' long. The soil beds provide thousands of square feet of growing space in an area of the greenhouse we keep unheated, which dramatically lowers our energy usage. We fill the beds with rich soil including the compost we make on the farm, and each bed produces bountiful greens, tomatoes, callaloo, herbs, and more all year round.
